Corrosion protection technology in harsh Marine environments
The Marine environment can be divided into five different corrosion zones: ocean atmosphere zone, spray splash zone, tidal range zone, seawater immersion zone and submarine soil zone, and the corrosion rate of each corrosion zone is different. Among them, the spray splash area is the most serious part of corrosion. This is because in this area, the steel surface is often in an alternating state of dry and wet due to periodic wetting by sea water, and the oxygen supply is sufficient, coupled with the synergistic effect of sunlight, wind and sea water environment leads to the most serious corrosion. Under normal circumstances, the average corrosion rate of steel in the Marine atmosphere is about 0.03 ~ 0.08 mm/a; The spray splash zone is 0.3 ~ 0.5 mm/a. The corrosion rate of the same kind of steel in the spray splash zone is 3 ~ 10 times higher than that in the seawater immersion zone. Therefore, anti-corrosion protection in the spray splash area has always been the "short board" of Marine corrosion. Therefore, more effective and targeted anti-corrosion methods should be adopted for spray splash areas.

Research on anti-corrosion technology in harsh Marine environment

Through long-term theoretical research and experimental research and development, our company has developed a new coating anticorrosion technology - layer mineral grease coating anticorrosion technology - which can effectively solve the problem of spray splash area anticorrosion on the basis of the introduction of digestion and innovation. The technology is composed of four closely connected protective layers, namely, mineral grease anti-corrosion paste, mineral grease anti-corrosion belt, sealing buffer layer and anti-corrosion protective cover. Among them, the mineral grease anticorrosion paste and the mineral grease anticorrosion belt are the core parts of the multi-layer mineral grease coating anticorrosion technology, containing efficient anticorrosion components, which can effectively prevent the corrosion of corrosive media on the steel structure, and can be constructed with rust and water. The sealing buffer layer and the anti-corrosion protective cover have good overall performance, which can not only isolate the sea water, but also resist the damage of mechanical damage to the steel structure.
