The environment of high temperature, high salt and high humidity makes the bridge face very severe corrosion environment. During the construction of most coastal Bridges, the bolts and nuts without special anti-corrosion treatment are generally corroded before the end of construction.

Anchor bolt is an important component for connecting and fastening the metal components of bridge guardrail with the foundation surface, and it needs to have the characteristics of high strength and good seismic performance. Once the corrosion problem occurs, the performance of the anchor bolt will be reduced, resulting in major safety risks.

Bolts and nuts belong to the opposite parts of the bridge, which are very prone to galvanical corrosion and mechanical stress corrosion, and the replacement of bolts and nuts is very difficult. From the perspective of the service life of the bridge, the problem of corrosion prevention of bolts and nuts is imminent, and must be paid great attention to.

On the basis of the bridge's anti-collision guardrail base (8284 sets), street lamp base (206 sets) and maintenance guardrail base (1982 sets), the connection bolts were covered with anti-corrosion construction works, with a total area of about 1600 square meters.
